My carb is in pretty rough shape....The butterfly plates are frozen. I think the cat pee froze it up. It needs a good cleaning..

    Its a manuel choke...
    I think its a 625cfm carb
I will try and get the part number off it to see how much a rebuild kit is.
Also I am not sure if the linkages are set up for chevy or ford....The eb linkage was not the standard ford stuff I have seen before.

I think my sister's bf has a stock 4 barrel intake for a SBC...

sweet let me know how much he wants for the manifold and what you want for the carb.

Went out and ****ed with it some more today. Cleaned all the crap out of the back, found more rust, and located and eradicated the offending animal droppings.

Jerry, I will so kick you in the nuts if you put a carb on this thing.

Seriously. Right in the fruit stand. Repeatedly.

Get the engine running with the FI.

I think Louis said he had an Edelbrock Performer Intake at his shop. you might ask him. This is an excellent manifold, you might remember it was on Crouch Racing's 1967 Chevelle in the famous "Kingspoint Dead Man's Curve Race" that resulted in said chevelle wrapped around light pole. Thus of course resulted in Clyde's foot jammed in previously mentioned driver's rectum.

    Jerry,

I have a sweet 1979 Z28 stock 4 barrel intake manifold in the back of my truck. My sister gave it to me. It could use some love from a wire wheel but other than that its cherry.

My carter afb bad dude is in ok shape. A rebuild kit is 39.99.

You will need an adapter to put that carb on that intake but they are like 10 bucks...

sweet, per your prediction the HOA has sent a first letter regarding el borracho's presence, but karl's trailer also was part of the letter. El borracho was noted as "immobile vehicle" so if i have to make it mobile with the carb i will.

    Thanks mike!

I'll send them back a letter asking how one can have an "immobile vehicle" if a vehicle by definition takes you from one place to another, how can it be immobile. Immobile POS, maybe.
