When I first got cooper from Grayson he was a pansy and would barely wade out into the water. I blamed his previous owner. I got him over to mom and dad's and into the pool, he is water crazy now. You can't hardly swim without being accosted (sp?) by an 80 lb waterdog. So tonight Melanie and I were playing horse in the pool (CJ and Coop know how much fun that is) and I was trying to get him to jump in off the side. He quickly thought that was pretty cool and started leaping in on top of us. I threw a ball one time and then called him, he came running and leaped like 6 feet out into the pool. This got me thinking, he's one of the fastest labs I've ever seen and he likes leaping into the pool. I think he would be badass at one of those distance jumping contests with a little work. I might join the circus with him soon, I'm kind of pissed I got him neutered now!

Inlaws were asking how old Cooper was tonight. I dug up this thread and couldn't believe he is 8. He runs 4.5 miles at a time, nbd. He still acts like a pup, great dog.
