the front, i have a boddy lift as well with deteriorated body bushings. maybe one day we can knock both out at once. i have 7/16 x 3 1/2" bolts that I am hoping are the stock size.

got the limited slip rebuilt and installed today with the 4.88's. ended up having to get a 1410 yoke for the rear end (thanks ben!) installed the shaft and drove it around for a bit. still needs to be aligned and i have alot of little things to do to it but thats how it is for now. oh and my pinion angle is terrible for the rear link to the pics and vids http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/...ry/17472/66656

I take it you don't have a cv on the front of the rear drive shaft? Keeping your pinion turned up like that will really help to keep that driveline out of the rocks.

i do have a cv on the front of the rear shaft and i have a serious pinion angle problem that i need to address sooner than later... for now i think i will flip the shim on the bottom of the spring packs around to turn that thing down some

why do you say it's a problem? oiling, hitting up top, vibration?

The vibration issue is why I asked if you had a cv up on the front of the shaft. With the cv, you shouldn't need to worry about everything not being in the same plane. It may be a little high right now, but I wouldn't think it would be too bad. What I would worry about is the pinion getting enough oil at speed.

right, thats why i was thinking for now.. i could flip the "stock" shim thats at the bottom of the 6" leaf around and lower it a couple more degrees. i know it wouldnt be perfect but it should make it better

It might not be perfect, but it would be a quick, cheap, and easy fix.
