    Get it. Leave it stock, cut out of the way what you can, weld the rear, and find some 31" or so MTs for it. If you kill it, it's probably worth about $200 in scrap. I think those have a divorce transfer case.

    in other news. i drove the scout today. fix the clicky starter, change fluids and an axle shaft and i might be at 47 on sunday.

    Avoid it at all costs. I am still paying for trying to make my Mazda into a Toyota. The biggest mistake I ever made was picking the Mazda over the Toy in the lot because the Mazda said "12 valve."

    i'm with eric. there's nothing wrong with a standard once you learn how to wheel one. most of the time they are stronger than an auto

    Man if this thing is running/driving and only $300, buy it and wheel the piss out of it. If you break it and decide to go further....you can do that. If you break it and decide to junk it, you're only out $300.
