Give Jeremiah 300 for that trainwreck of a Scout in the Advance parking lot. I am pretty sure he would take it. In two weeks, I am suppose to haul it to fayettvile where it will sit in a field, for decades....really...decades.
It needs alot of work though.....alot......alot.
edit: it comes with maybe $20 worth of chemicals, old tires, used oil, and firewood in the back

I dont want something i cant drive or that needs so much work i will never see the trail. This truck is in my home town and im hoping to have it with me (Behind the Dexter house) by the end of christmas. Im just wondering what i can do as far as a SAS. any suggestions?
You can SAS anything. Cut the IFS off, weld spring hangers and perches on, bolt springs to spring hangers and ubolt front axle on, make steering work, make brakes work, make a driveshaft that works, make sure you got the same gears front and rear, and you're good to go.
If you don't have any idea how you would go about SASing this truck you should probably not get into the project just yet
like Ryan and I said, get it, put tires on it, and wheel it as is. You will eventually get to the point where you are confident/competent enough to SAS it, but that last post indicates you are not there yet, so don't rush it. Look at all the people in this club who have bought a running rig, then before even wheeling it, hacked it up in hopes of making it the baddest trail rig ever, and all of a sudden it's 2 years later and they've missed out on 10 or 15 trips and are selling everything at a loss.
if it has 33's go for it, make the rear supper flexy
33's can go alot of places people don't think that they can.
oh and build a cage, well maybe that is just for me

thats pretty close but your forgot the part about parking it in someone else's driveway and waiting for the city to tell you that it has to move before finishing it

yah chris, forget the guys that are saying not to get it, its $300 for a running wheel ready 4x4, hell i can't even get parts for the jeep at $300 anymore. If i were you i wouldn't do sh*t to it, just wheel and have fun. WHEN it DOES break, scrap it and and start saving for your real longterm keeper rig. But for the datsun just learn how to wheel smart with it, and it will go along way with any rig you choose to eventually build.
