    Spring Creek this Weekend

In other news, Scott and I are thinking about wheeling in Spring Creek this weekend. Landon mentioned meeting us up here (I'm assuming he won't be driving anything ) If anyone is intrested we'll make a date. Sunday might be better than Saturday if pepes are flexible since it is supposed to be clear skies and sunny.

That Poker run sounds pretty scarry...

Starts at 6:00 (after dark) and last for 4 hours. You have to get to 5 checkpoints or something and do "stupid human tricks". He said that they will have a campfire at each checkpoint to hang out and warm up.

Sounds like there will be plenty of beer drinking involved...

So we went out there today and had a good time. It was plenty muddy - and muddy is always fun once in a while! Had to drive the Dodge in 4x4 to get around in the parking lot and roads - There was about 8" of goop everywhere Always fun spinning all four on the Dodge while pulling a trailer...

I forgot to put gas in the Patrol so it died when I got a little off camber - that sucked... I got all screwed up in a course because the engine died and then we got Lynda's all screwed up trying to winch it out. That part sucked. It was fun putting Lynda's in hi range and putting the foot on the floor to try and get it out though (mud flying everywhere...), the Patrol needs a V8 like that...

I didn't take any pics, maybe Landon did. I'll take a pic of the dirty trucks on the trailer tomorrow morning.

I think we might be in 4-wheeler magazine, "Readers and Rigs" (or something like that). We don't get the magazine so someone keep an eye out for the pink jeep since he took my information down.

So, cleaning up after having fun in the mud really sucks...

First, I drove them around the neighborhood to get the real big chunks off, then I knocked off all of the big chunks in the driveway, swept them up and put it in a wheelbarrel... Then I got to spraying away. I gave up on cleaning the driveway, there's like a 1/2" of mud on it...

The pic of the wheelbarrel doesn't show it very well - it's overflowing...

I was just talking/thinking this weekend about how many runs in lyndas jeep it would take til you wanted a V8 behind that skinny pedal.
