    St. John's C-Bone Build

For those of you that don't know, St. John used to actually wheel with this club and not just hang out on the runs and help spot. He had a cherokee, that when he got it, was a clean and unmolested bone stock 95 2-Door 4x4 Cherokee with a 6cyl/5spd. He immediately remedied that problem but slapping an 8" skyjacker lift, regearing it, slapping an ARB front bumper and winch, and throwing lockers in it with a set of 35" tires. It later received a Scout Dana 44 with a spool in the rear, big stereo, custom interior, and a rollcage.

He liked to drive to the trail. Here's a couple of it when we drove it to Las Cruces for spring break.

Further Proof that we didn't have a support vehicle on this trip is how we were packed like we were fleeing Cuba.

But, after breaking things and Ryan's typical, "hey, wouldn't this be cool?" attitude, the cherokee went under the knife.

The first pictures to ever be posted about what he was doing are these. At the time he really didn't want everybody to see what he was doing. I don't know if he thought it was going to turn out bad, or he thought he would eventually scrap the project, but these were the first to surface.

Here's what I have so far. I'll leave the commentary up to Ryan at this point if he wants to add any. I didn't get to finish uploading all the ones I have last night, but I'll get them added tonight. For now, here's some stuff to look at while at work.

It did, but it turned into a gay 3 link vs 4 link argument, so I figured instead of posting in that one we would start over in the actual build-up section. I'll get the rest of the pictures up tonight.

Looks bad-ass. Then again, that's exactly what I was expecting after hearing Jimbo brag on it. You know St, John, you could buy that black Cherokee in the good deals thread and it would be like before and after.

Looks sweet. Is it gonna be a dedicated rock crawler, or is the idea of competing in Baja/Jeepspeed floating around?

anything ran in jeepspeed needs a jeep or amc engine this is just a playtoy or more of an all around vehicle (street, rocks, dunes, maybe a dragstrip blast or 2)
