Oh, and I think it was John Cox, but somebody wanted to see better pictures of the "frame rails" so here they are.

Yeah, almost all of the brackets are a mix of 1/8" and 3/16". The tubing is 1 3/4" .120 wall, and all the suspension links are chromoly. Shouldn't really be that heavy compared to a trophy truck or the likes. You have to remember, this thing isn't being built to be some lightweight comp buggy that gets unloaded off the trailer, bashed on a comp course, then put back on the trailer for the trip home. This thing is going to be a balls to the wall, sand dunes/desert runner, rockcrawling and trail running, hauling ass down the highway, cyclone spinning, stereo bumping, windows up with the a/c cranked, high flying mushroom cloud laying mother ****er, mother ****er! Or something along those lines.....

klogger have AC? i hope so. I will say, fred did not say anything about stopping, so they might have that in common.
really though, not off and on trailer, balls to wall, hauling ass, links, cromo.

Went over and helped Ryan move the Cherokee from the "cinder block side" to the lift. He's added a few tubes here and there and done a ****-ton of welding on the front axle and links. It rolls and has driver's seat somewhat mocked up in it. Sat in it and it's pretty comfy for a guy my size even. Not going to be a lot of foot room, and he better get some insulation from the heat shield of a space shuttle to go next to his right foot, but sitting in it, I could definitely see driving it long distances.

Had to do this image seperate because the board is being lame. Some thing about only being able to embed 5 images in a post.
