I was under the impression that the shackle needed to be on the opposite side of the axle as the leafspring shackle (i.e. your's would need to be in the front of the truck). I think this is what Clarke was tryin to get at.
I've heard it argued both ways. I've also seen alot of rigs running a traction bar similar to mine on the front and it did not seem to limit flex enough to worry about. I had no room to put a traction bar facing forward, so this will have to work
