I thought this thing had some nice fat manly tires on it last I saw. I would take dry rotted TSLs over MTRs in most situations. That dry rot is just on the surface, burn them a little and new rubber will be exposed.
I'd have to agree with that - TSL's dryrot or not are the ****.
