nah, I'm pretty bummed. You're telling me that ugly pile is the BEST design they could come up with? I mean the sides and roofline have potential, but the nose is a disaster and the rear is not much better. GM needs to fire every designer and go hire some guys from Ford or Mopar...or dig up Harley Earl and John Delorean. It has a decent engine, but that's really no suprise....Zora Duntov's influence has at least stuck with some powertrain engineers left at GM. Also, if you want an Independent Rear Suspension, buy a Vette. I'm betting this thing is going to be no where near the value of the previous camaros.

I was holding out for this design..

The '69s are cool in their own right, but I already have an old unreliable car and I can't see dropping $50k+ on a well built one. Nothing wrong with advances in technology. Turns out, things like low road noise and good cornering are pluses.

Your just getting soft in your old age
They just need to put that body onto a new chassis and then have a free give away in which I would win one.

I think on the production model they need to extend the nose just a tad bit and soften up the lower valance and bumper...looks almost as blunt as a truck or something.
I can't imagine who would have any pictures of such a beast.Originally Posted by TxCruzr
This was the first camaro thread I could find...figured this was as good of a place to put these as anywhere. According to some of the camaro boards, this is supposed to be the production version. Judging by the orange peel, I would say that is definitely a possibility. Reading what I first posted way back when, my opinion has slightly changed. I still don't like the back, but the front for some reason now looks better. I'd drive it. It would need to be lowered, and a seafoam green metallic with white or black yenko stripes though.

too late, gas is too expensive, GM sat on their hands for too long. I like it though, I'd drive it.
