will a stock 3.73 ring and pinion from a dana 30 tj work in a cj dana 30. the seller says it a low pinion-std cut.

I would not buy untill I have disproved this. I heard that a cj uses a longer pinion than a tj.
I don't think so, Randy's ring and pinion shows a different part number for the TJ dana 30 as compared to other dana 30's

Red 81 CJ5, 35's, 4.10 and detroit, 4 to 1 dana 300, tbi efi, flat belly, cage, chromos and auzzie in front... sometimes runs. body damage to come
nope
YJ's were reverse rotation. The TJ uses a shorter pinion than the CJ, and the late TJ's are metric ring gear bolts....so no, it will not work in a CJ.
