would a nissan patrol be a good vehicle to start a build up on, would i need to do lots to make it wheelable? i want to go with 33-35 inch tires on what ever i am going to do, but will the axles hold up?

where do you even find a patrol to begin with? Scotts is the only one i've ever seen
i found one on craigslist in austin, the guy is listing it at 2500, so i was wondering if an offer of 1000 would be worth it, he says that he needs it gone, so it might work, but it might be a little lowOriginally Posted by 73bronco
It would probably be worth it for that one, but make sure you look at it before you commit. That guy has been listing it since October, so there's probably a reason it hasn't sold yet.
thanks for the info, knowing that would it even be worth the trip to austin?Originally Posted by bburris
He already lowered the price to $2350. SO if you could get it for around $1000-1200, seems like a good deal. I doubt he'll bite on 50% of his asking price, I'm sure someone already tried that angle. BUt its worth a try, it apparently does run so it cant be that bad.Originally Posted by bcolman
yeah, but its always better to start low and then work your way up. thats how i got my tires on my blazer.
you mean how i got your tires for the blazer

yeah, it has a link to that one because he was to lazy to copy and paste all of the info so he just copy and pasted a link to the old post.Originally Posted by Snatch Adams
looks in decent shape, i'd say its worth his asking price but if you can get it less go for it
