Any thoughts on ditching the 205?
If you're going to take your sweet ass time to get it going and dump a bunch of money in it, just look for good deals as they come along and see what turns up. That's the approach I'm taking with the boat. I say 8100 and associated drivetrain. I know all you really want to do with this is make really loud vroom vroom noises and lay rubber, I will testify that this is the combo for you.

ah, i read, "what's the price..."
and i meant $1400 for the combo. $650 for the engine $750 for the trans, iirc.
i just looked though my records since im home now and it was the other way around, the engine was $100 more than the trans.
i was thinking that was kinda odd.
