I have one set (pair) of Firestone air helper springs, (Firestone Ride Rite) part number 2320. They do not fit my truck because of the oversize tires. I ordered them from Summit and have lost the reciept. I would rather not return them and pay for shipping again. If you know of someone who's interested let me know. I have included links to both Summit and Firestone. They fit Chevy 1500 Silverado 2wd/4wd 1999-2007 and Ford F-150 2wd and 4wd 1997-2003. The links contain application charts and data.

Paid 195 plus shipping. I would like 175 OBO.

I believe you have the japanese half ton? I know a guy that used some on a lifted chevy half ton to pull a pretty big camper and loved them. Kept the truck from squating so bad but he said the big difference was much more stable going down the highway.

I was looking at adding a rear sway-bar, but for the same price or a little more, I could do the air-bag helpers to act as both.

Garrett, I am serious, I don't think that it would take much fabrication to make these work for you. I love those airbags, they make a major difference. I would go 4link and bags on the dually if I had the time and $.

Yea, they work great. You'll get a very rough ride if you leave them pressurized when you're not loaded. My little brother had a nice little setup with an air tank, and an in-cab gauge and valve in his F-150. Charged the tank to 125 psi and it would last a rather long time. Only put 30 psi or so in the bags. We also used them on the F-350s for hauling really heavy loads. Just had the lines tied together and run to a schrader valve at the bumper.

I thought about it, but I looked at the parts lists and the differences between the two are just about everything except for the zip ties...

The only real difference will be the mounting plates. The time and money that would need to be spent to fit these plus the initial cost put these our of a 'grayson' good deal. You are just towing a bumper pull correct?

The only real similarity, looking at the parts, is that they're both made by Firestone... Even the bags are different.

This thing is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down on my list of things to do anyway.

if you're just looking for more roll stiffness in the rear, i'd go with a sway bar. if you increase spring rate to get a better roll rate you'll just have a rougher ride.

I'm mainly just concerned with sagging when towing and being fully loaded. I think bags are the ticket, just not these bags.

a rear sway bar wont help with sagging and will make the truck less stable while loaded. so, yeah, bags are the ticket.
