That is exactly like what I used. My stuff was made by a company called Symons and must be phenolic faced. You can sand on one spot with a power sander for 3-4 minutes and it doesn't go through. It's some pretty tough stuff. The guy still has some sheets left on craigslist up here, I think it will work good.

No, apparently they didn't label the wiring when they disconnected everything.

no, the wiring that ties it into the boat is the same plug. It's the wiring on the motor. I think I remember flem, jimmy, and I drinking beer while tearing it down. Didn't label some of the sending unit wires so much. I'll get it figured out tomorrow night.

Here's a pic of us using the patented BMF Skyhook o' Death getting ready to put the engine and trans in. The other one was the stopping point for the night. Other than waiting on some parts to come in, things seem to be going relatively smooth. Still lots to do after it's running like the interior and the stereo.
