I vaguely remember getting you message at some point Saturday night. We hung out at Ryan's and drank a lot.

This qualifies me for nationals. I didn't go last year because I had too much junk going on with work and family and couldn't see spending the $1000 for travel, lodging, and food for something that I hadn't adequately prepared for. Ryan, who I've beaten 3 times finished 4th. David Hansen, the guy I lost to in SC, won the HW overall.

Congrats once again Andy! What is next?

Next up will either be a team competition in VA in March or a Pro-Am in Orlando in April for my first shot at a pro card. The Orlando show is stupid heavy, so that's what I'll be training for. The team competition just looks like a lot of fun.

An update: I won my pro card in Orlando in April, and just finished my 1st pro show in San Diego. Next up is America's Strongest Man in Morgantown, WV. Top 4 from ASM get an invite to represent the US at The World's Strongest Nation in Lithuania. Top 10 qualify for the 1st strongman show at the Olympia, a huge fitness show in Las Vegas in September.

I'm headed to Las Vegas at the end of September for the inaugural Mr. Olympia strongman competition, and who knows after that. I've been invited to represent the USA in The World's Strongest Nation, which is a team competition and will be held in the Ukraine this year, as well as another international competition in Australia in December. Things are pretty exciting right now, to say the least.
