Sweet! I guess I should call my brother and ask him about the route, I think he has made trips up that way a few times now. I may have to invest in the new speedbrake from Banks for this trip though (it would be as good a reason as any to get it )

Well, stoping this kluster fawk we will be calling a convoy shouldn't be too bad. I just got the speedbrake on order.

Now to just get the gawdamm steel 19.5" inners shipped to the house so I can get the new shoes on.

I show 8 rigs, and 17 people (including the two already in CO.) That should be plenty of room w/ my rumble seat.

Holy Shiite, Mohamed!!! I just went back and added everyone that I could find to the first post and we are setting at 17 people now.

I doubt lu or jones will be there. I wouldnt count them out just yet, but i'd put it at like 10% either of them will be there, especially lu.

Per my Colorado Roadtrip 2008 thread, I could not complete Tincup Pass due to snow on July 14th. The trail fooked up my ****, but would would not be a hard trail, mostly just scenic.

My internet research shows that they had high snowfalls last year and relatively low this year. Hopefully it will be mostly open.

Carnage canyon and Chinaman gulch are open all year...

regarding "scenic drives" I don't think that's a good idea. Take the shortest, straightest route and enjoy the scenery once you get here. I typed out my thoughts on routes to take in a PM to Ed a few weeks ago, may get motivated to type it again later

SEMA isnt till november, I was going to go but it is during our monthly close for that month.

The route we decided on seems good, I've done every part but 50 out of pueblo before.

Sweet, I guess you enjoy the car. It gets good mileage on the highway too, 26ish if I remember correctly

unless its a microbrew keg, i wont be hitting it! I plan on stopping in pueblo and stocking up on various hoity toity beers for the whole weekend....and maybe some fresh from the brewery keystone
