No matter what this situation is going to sit in the driveway for a little while.
And no Brian I ain't selling the thing. Jackass.
I think this is my motivation to start saving for the Swap. I have the new (to us) beater 40 to wheel for a while and the Taco ain't costing me anything to sit in storage at the Ranch for a while until I have an axle and all the suspension and steering sorted out. Decisions, decisions...
from my experience, trail gears quality control is not par with the other companies, spend the extra.
personally id just buy a marlin kit and be done with it, given you have the cash.
Boats and hoes
Stumble in to the liquor store
With a dollar-fifty for a bottle of wine,
I know just what I'm lookin for
Thunderbird will do just fine.
That would be great if this was a 4Runner or a Truck, but it ain't it is a Tacoma. Little more difficult to do a swap. No Marlin kit. I think all-pro has a coil over kit that is way more money than i will ever spend, but there are a couple other places that have some spring hanger kits ready to go, I just need to start researching.
