Here it is towing.
Both face and groin, simultaneously.

I Concur! just make sure someone else does your dirty work
Slammed dually's(etc) are pretty sweet. since ive lowered mine i cant run air bags. ive often pondered about 1/4 elliptical(i think thats right) with air bag rear suspension. much like what Paccar has done.
How much do rubber band load range e+ tires cost for 22.5's?! but i guess if you have a truck that sexed up, it doesnt matter.
I like to keep my hands clean when it comes to wet work.
You can still run bags, you will just have to modify the frame. I prefer to have a plenty of ground clearance in the pasture, so I should have no trouble when I 4 link and bag the rear of mine.
You are by far the best one-man sleeper cell I have.
it is about 7500 to get a truck to that state, excluding wheels. The end up narrowing the rear 3.5" to get the wheels to tuck. Those wheels are cut down 22.5, so you can run 22" on it. That is a way off for me, just going to shoot for a 5/7 drop at this point.

The trust white truck was due for a retirement, that is for sure. Cash in hand is better than a new truck sometimes.
Bare in mind, I am not the guy on site everyday anymore, my project manager has a 4x4. To have another would be unnecessary, this truck has a slightly different purpose. Like all decisions, it is a mix of different desires. When we haul something large, it is generally 10k or so. The current fleet is a little over matched for that, but does great for day to day towing of skid steers and random supplies. It is the specialty loads (i.e. pavers, retaining wall blocks, stone, ect.) that we need some extra umpm for. That being said, 95% of that is all on paved surfaces, so 4x4 is mute. Since I paid cash, payment aren't a concern.
I could have just bought a single rear wheel, but part of the decision was that I wanted a lowered dually, hence the 2wd. I know that it isn't for everybody, but it is part of my street rodding roots that I have always jonesed for one. I a willing to have some trade offs to get some other things I want. If I were to by a pure company truck, this probably wouldn't be it.
Karl, it has the Bose set up, but no XM. I am looking into a sub and an iPod hookup. The FM/iPod set up I have is crappy, just needs to be hard wired.

There is another site, and it's in the forums somewhere but I have to search for it.
EDIT: Found it here. http://www.tamor.org/forums/showthre...highlight=ipod
The link is busted, but I think this one will get you where you need to be.

Well let's see here. Brandon was for sure due for a replacement truck. The white one wasn't more efficient, powerful, comfortable, etc. than the new one. It will def be nice to use the dually to haul bigger loads, like brandon was saying. He spent 12 grand on the truck, which I don't hink would have bought him as nice of a diesel. If you can show me a sub 100k mile crew cab duramax dually thats not a base model, go for it. Fuel is about a wash. The gasser might get ahead when you factor in purchase price and fuel price. So a $12k truck, he got exactly what he wants, and can still buy a reg cab 4x4 if he ends up really needing one. It is a lot of truck for that much money, I know that there are "lesser" trucks, half ton etc, out there that bring that much money or more. I also think the 8.1 is cool strictly for its rarity. There just arent that many of them on the road in regular trucks.
As far as lowering, I think it would look good, my hangup is with wheels and tires. Not sure what size and style I would want. The huge hubs and lugs on the 22.5s (milled or not) look like you are trying to hard. Kinda like a little kid in daddys boots.
