Is there any difference at all between wagoneer knuckles and chevy knuckles for a d-44. I have a guy who wants some late 70s waggy knuckles. I have some knuckles that came off a late 70s chevy axle.

I am thinking everything is the same except for maybe the tie rod holes? What is the consensus?

Just so others know: I looked up tie rod end part number and yes they are different. Chevy uses the common E-part number ones known as "chevy 1 ton" ends where waggy uses a smaller less common tapered end.
    Damn!

This is shocking to me that a wagoneer would use some odd ball bastard part like a Buick TH400, different versions of a NP208, or anything that is quadratrac related.

Can't unless they want to upgrade to chevy ends. The chevy end is a larger taper then the waggy.

Is there an easy way to bend a new fender lip after trimming the fender? I know you can do it with a hammer and dolly but that sounds like a lot of work.

I don't think that works on fresh cut fenders, I think you have to already have a lip. If you referenced it for use without cutting, I don't think you can make them 2" further.

Take a piece of 3/4 or 1 inch square stock/square tube and cut a notch in it with a cutoff wheel. Make the notch as deep as you want the new lip to be wide (about 1/2" works well). Use this to bend the lip a little at a time till you get it to 90 degrees, then you can finish it off with the bat method (or a hammer and dolly).

Wanting to run longer front shocks on the dodge and am looking to make a spacer to raise the shock towers up 1 inch. The bolts are in a circular pattern with about an 5 inch diameter. Any ideas on something that would be easy/cheap?
