Tommy keep tbi. Buy a cable for it and learn how to tune it yourself.

you should probably do a compression check before spending any more money

it seemed like it was running pretty good last time I saw it. Something happened to stop that, it doesn't seem to me like you have identified or even narrowed down what the cause was.

If you need a cable this one is probably the best. http://www.aldlcable.com/

who put that retarded idea in your head?

there are several tbi rigs in the club that have had it a long time with few problems. fred, jimmy, me, etc.

maybe its not the tbi sucking, maybe it's your motor. did you use new ignition parts or were you a cheap ******?

So you are putting propane on to fix a suspected icm/ignition problem?

Propane does great offroad, and it is much easier to adapt to your rig than trying to constantly combat tbi problems. You also get the advantage of running gas when you want to, so I think good idea

    Yes, tbi ignition.

When converting to tbi, you get what you pay for.

What? I assume the setup is Ford Duraspark in the distributor and that wired to a GM ICM and either a GM 4 wire square coil, or a Ford TFI coil. None of those components are cheap, or ****ty, so what exactly is the "get what you pay for" component?

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?! I thought propane was a great idea once because I read it on the interweb, then I graduated high school. Propane is a whole other animal. No motor will ever run right on both due to octane ratings. This is a terrible idea and always will be, don't waste your money Tommy, if your are having tbi issues learn to diagnos the problem instead of being a little baby about it. You bronco ran great, got decent mileage and didn't smell like ass when you first did the swap. Stop pointing fingers and fix your ****, things go wrong it is part of life. Chance are it is something you messed with that you had no idea about or a part that cost the same as a case of beer.

Maybe someone that thinks tommy should stick with Tbi could come over to dowling and help? I'm not very interested in Tbi or propane but do know that since coming to dowling the bronco has never ran "good" and back in its old carbed days it did out run my dodge (factory tune).
