Jason, I wouldn't mind Frielings on Thursday. I PM'd the guy on Pirate about directions to the place south of town.

Info on the 2 trails south of town that use to include 3 stage. It is probably not worth towing everything down there, but I might just drive my truck down there and check it out if I get there early enough.
I usually run the trails about once a year, but quite honestly it is a long way to go to only run 2 trails. Head South on 271 towards clayton lake state park, about 5 miles and after 9 Pine Rd and the State Park, you will take a left on Wildwood Rd. It is a dirt road and goes through a housing addition, BE SURE TO GO SLOW!! Keep going past the houses all the way to the cell tower. After the cell tower keep following the road. If you want to go to Snake Pit you will take the first right to get there, keep going down the trail and stay left every time it splits until you get to the creek crossing, that is Snake Pit. It is a creek bed like Green Mamba. Go all the way until the power line, then you have to turn around and come back out the way you came in. DO NOT GO OUT THE POWERLINE. That is private property and off limits. They have called the game warden in the past and will do it again if they see you. There is a house on the side of the hill that they can see who is on it.
If you do not want to go to Snake Pit keep goign and you take the second left which is the entrance of Rock Creek. It is not clearly marked and can be hard to find. After taking a left you will go down the mountain until you get to a big slab, that you cannot go over the middle of unless you want to run the risk of rolling. Just after that you will see an opening to your right and that will be Lost Creek. If you go past that, you will see a Green and White sigh that says posted Hurliman Mountain or something like that, turn around and go back because on the other side of that sign is private property.
After taking a right on Lost Creek, keep following it until you come to a dead end with a big tree, that is K Trail, take a right, then take another right at the next fork in the road and that will take you back the way you came in.

Directions to Frielings from Clayton
From Clayton, head Northeast on OK-2/US-271 toward Lawrence and continue to follow OK-2 for approximately 12 miles.
Turn right on OK-1/OK-63 and go approximately 1.5 miles to first county road on left.
Turn left (Cardinal Rd ) and go approximately 1/3 of a mile to the next county road (will be an intersection, with no stop sign).
At this intersection take another left at (Songbird Rd or SE220) and go approximately 1/3 of a mile to the next county road on the right.
Take right (Songbird LP or SE1035th Ave) and follow county road. Pavement will end and turn into private gravel drive. After the getting on the gravel drive, it will go up hill and then make a hard left.
Follow the road up the hill to the entrance of Mr. Frielings
land.

I know how to get to Snake pit and rock creek. I would like to go up 3 Stage. I think that is off limits still.
In 2007 the group I was running the K-Trail with got lost at night and end up running Snake Pit around Midnight. Bunch of IFS Yota's on 33's clanging through that creek bed was bad news bears. Lots of twisted sheet metal, 2 lost beads, a door that wouldn't open and my FJ filled with water to what seemed like the steering wheel. I would love to tackle that stuff now that I have been wheeling for a few years and have a better built vehicle.
