Why would one remove a diff cover? Oh yeah, to weld the diff. Ah, once and you're done.
So what u-bolt did you use Brian? Does it come stock on something?

here is what it ended up looking like, i didnt make it back out to my ranch today but should be getting some pics brought back to me tomorrow.
frick-the ubolt measured 5/8"x5"x~13"(i did cut off about 2 inches of the thread on each side once i installed it so you could go shorter), there isnt a part number for the ubolt as they make them custom for you while you wait, i waited for maybe 5 minutes for it to be made,

He who dies with the most **** wins, after seeing your collection you are in the lead no doubt!
Where did you get it made?

he had it made at heitman in houston who sells semi parts. they are off i 10 somewhere and they made it why we waited.

what every one else said, ill change the fluid when i redo the spring plate and wont do that again for a while
i had it made at heitman in houston, its the place that frick suggested on the east side of down town, but just go to the nearest truck stop with a repair shop and they will make custom ubolts 24 hours a day
that is really the best place to get all u-bolts made, they are a higher grade than the stock replacement ones. When I needed new u-bolts in CO the local 4wd shop didn't have them so that's what I did, it ended up to cost half as much too.
rebuilt my front driveshaft, now i just need the flanges back from the machine shop
wow!

The office sucks - I wanna go wheeling!
wash it all first - you will be much happier working with semi-clean parts. At least hose it down. I would spray the engine with degreaser and hose off.
