Next stop, scrap yard!
On the 8th day god created the Super Swamper TSL and said "go forth and kick ass"
I laughed

No, won't fit.
Tonight we (as in sparling) rebuilt the transmission (don't worry c-6's are much simpler than e40d's) and then we spent 3 hours trying to put it on. Come to find out, the torque converter was wrong. A 400 torque converter will fit a 360 but a 360 torque converter will not fit a 400....
Also pressure washed the frame and spray bombed it.
I don't have to work tomorrow. So tomorrow night i'll need some extra hands to get the body on.......then weld the trans tunnel in.......then the hood and fenders.....then to maaco for a paint job....then the cage when Evan gets back
I don't want my name associated with that transmission after you wiped up nasty ass old atf off the table to lube up parts, but I guess I can blame you if it doesn't work

I used my fancy part number to application guide and it says that torque converter fits a 360,390, 351, 400, 429 and 460 but only up to a 76 year model and after that it's a different torque converter.
