Silver is what I'm looking for. Or white. Make it happen.
The disco ball in my mouth, insinuates I'm ballin'
Silver? I don't think that was a color in the 1956 box of crayolas
...
Chevrolet had a silver paint code in 1930.
It was a stove enamel, so I doubt the metallics looked anything like modern silver paints. In 1956 Chevy came out with Inca Silver in the cars, but the trucks didn't get that color. Granite Grey was the color code available in 56, but I don't think it had any metallics in it. The trucks didn't get a silver color until 66.
I'm thinking something like this. Maroon, possibly flat, and take about a foot out of the height, and then throw some whitewalls at it.

Awesome photoshop skills Fred, Thanks!
I already lowered the front 1.5" and the rear 2". White wall radials are the eventual plan. I think I want to go with the chrome grill and chrome headlight bezels though.
I'm not convinced on the maroon though. Any chance you could make a few clicks and change it to forest green?
I halfass added some chrome hubcaps to go with the green.

I like the maroon, but the green looks pretty good too.
