it even has the extra water jackets already filled. I'm a bit concerned about that since there is no reason to do that to a 4.0
...
Better have that thing checked for cracks. It looks like someone aborted that very same procedure after filling the water jacket.

Just when you though it was safe to go back in the water...
the worst feeling in the world is to spend money on headwork, get it in the car, fire that mother up (blub, blub, open headers, blub, blub) then proceed to fog the driveway with water vapor. You stand back and yell ****, then get to replace it with new heads. Get it checked out, and if you let someone work on it, say to put hardened seats in it and 2.02 valves, make sure they know wtf they are doing.

i was planning on having it hot tanked and magnafluxed. Wheres a good place to get that done around Dallas? I was just going to take it to city motor supply and see if they can do it, but I'd rather take it to a specialty shop rather than a mass produced rebuilt motor place.
...
I think Plano Auto can do it. I know they have a hot tank, and they can do a pressure test, but I am not sure about the magnafluxing part. If you see a pos Isuzu running around Plano with parts in the back it is me. I am currently employed as one of their parts bitches. gotta love summer jobs, but it beats the hell out of working nights, weekends, or doing actual labor in the sun
