    Factory CD player

I just got a 96 Z71 and the cd player doesn't work. It is the factory one and says "err" everytime I put a cd in. Is there anyway to fix it without having to replace it?

No one told mine or my sister's that. Dodge and jeep (same version) players will absolutely not play them from what I've seen.

mine stopped playing burned cds first, then stopped working altogether. It's easy to replace. Grayson may still have one. I was gonna buy it from him but he started acting like a little ho so I bailed

Maybe I've had bad luck but every gmc we've ever owned wouldn't play burned cd's.
