Lynda and I plan on coming.

We will probably drive up to Dallas and stay with someone on Thursday night, then finish the drive on Friday morning.

Not sure yet if we are going to bring both rigs or just one rig and little Jake.

X2 - take it. If you plan on driving it there and back, bring a few spare critical parts (U-joints, U-joint straps, front axle shafts etc...) What rear axle do you have?

Also - you will be with a group of people loaded with spare parts and knowledge that will make anything work, and show you how to fix things.

    Hmmm... unfortunately I have a D35...
I guess I will need some help turning up some cheap shafts...

I would plan on driving it, but I might have access to a tow vehicle if I really need one. Makes more since financially for me to drive out there if I don't break anything...

    off topic:

Oh, and the RX-7... Well I haven't ran it... but theoretically, if I can lay down a decent 60 ft I think mid-low 11's sounds reasonable. (with my little street tires)

I know a guy (well on the internet), that ran a high ten on a street tire, in a full weight rx at only 400hp... So its all in the driving, and tire set up I guess. If I had experience at the track, and some radials, I would say tens... However, that is a dangerous claim, since I haven't even ran at the track before..

There is a build thread in the Tech section.

Anybody with an extra trailer spot? The Escalade is officially for sale and we plan on buying a replacement tow vehicle (prolly back to a 3/4 ton Suburban) by the end of the year to take advantage of some tax incentives, but we don't know if we'll have it in time and if the Escalade doesn't sell, we really shouldn't take it because we are already over on the miles.

As of right now, we have a room reserved Thursday - Sunday, but that is not for sure yet due to work considerations.
    Thanks,

No, it's set up for adding drums, but I have never even remotely needed them with the ~2000lb buggy, even through Mountain passes.

Speaking of which, I don't necessarily even need someone else's trailer spot if they are willing to tow my bumper pull trailer.
    Thanks,
