    uhhh...yeah, mighta been a little buzzed when I wrote that, but seriously this is dumb. Your jeep's now worth like 5gs less than the sum of its parts

    Sounds like almost every other vehicle in this club. Who cares? It's his Jeep to do with as he pleases, this has no real bearing on any of our lives and if it gets parted out or sold in six months none of us will be affected in any way. It's not like this is much different than me cutting the rear suspension off my Jeep six years ago to put leaf springs on it. It was six years old at the time, which just so happens to be the same age this one currently is. I'll concede that mine had been paid off for a couple of years and wasn't in fantastic condition, but it was still ultimately my decision to do something to a second vehicle that wasn't generally thought of as a good idea. It worked for a couple of trips and now it's a permanent fixture holding my garage floor down. Worked out great for everyone!
