it is decieving but I stretched the tongue of the trailer 3 feet and then add that small deck on the front for the trailer to sit on. The small deck actually sits on the tongue where the old deck sat before.

ah, ok. That makes sense.
looks a lot better now that it's in your driveway and not my backyard :flipoff2:
Take pics of the fridge, stove and 12v coffeepot so Doug can drool
Anyone have any contacts in the car hauler biz or know of any good places with reasonable prices? The closer to Eagles Ass or San Antonio the better. Just looking for a 18' wood decked car hauler.
Called a few places today and so far they're all $2k+
If you haven't already, call Jace at BigTex.
Thx, sent him a message. I hate the websites that don't give a email address and make you fill out a contact form with all your info. Bastards always call in the middle of the day when I'm passed out
Let me know if you don't hear from him. I PM'ed him on tx4x4 about the flatbed I just had put on the 'Big Dooley'. He got me a hellufa deal.
On another note (and this may very well shoot me in the foot so close to my vacation  ), get a hold of Colman on here. He has a nice BigTex like you are looking for that he has up for sale.

i dont think my brother is selling the trailer any more, and ed we need some pics of the new flat bed
Just got a qoute back from him and was a little suprised. It was the lowest I've been quoted so far even from ma n pa shops. I did forget to add on a few goodies though but I think it'll still be the best deal.
if you get ahold of the guy through tx4x4 then you will likely get a better deal
ask him if he will give you a better price if you get two... i am looking for something similar
Only if you go pick them up and I'll get it from you in SA :flipoff2:
Just realized where he is out of, that's a good 9+ hours
Since Ed is lazy and you can't figure out where to find them

yea i'm keeping my trailer. made that decision a while ago. i got mine from bigtex on tx4x4. every lot i called had it listed for 3300 ish i walked out the door at 2350 but i did have to pick it up in mt pleasant. well worth the drive for the deal
well I am driving to florida and back in july ~3K miles... I am sure I could make a side trip to pick them up... PM me with the specs on them and you think they could load on on top of the other?
Jeep on the trailer w/ camper. It pulls great even better than it did before because of the 3 extra feet of length.
And for Doug the refrigerator and stove

good stuff! You oughta rhino-line under the wings
did you really stuff that tire far enough to dent that quarter panel?
I think he did that in Colorado last year or maybe at Trees. Can't remember which.
he stuffed it last year in the king of trees race, i think my back still hurts from that short ride
yeah the tires will stuff that far. I think the rear has 7 inches up travel and 8 inches of down travel
Pics taken before we had a chance to weld the 2nd inner fender on, but they are all cleaned up and ready for either bedliner or paint. Clarke did a great job on these and spent way more time then I am sure he anticipated, but the final product will look great.
We bascially just took out 4" of original fender and used 5 pieces of 2x4 3/16" to build it back. You can see the hefty chunk of leftover angle from our first idea used now as a center support
The Bronco is for sure wider now with the Solid outers :( Probably 1-2" It will not climb both at the same time, but it will not squeeze through, so, just one side climbs.
bedlined. look much better than my ****ty paint job
texas truck riggins did it.
That's sweet looking! Clark did some good work.

This link might be well known, but figured I would post it here too. I know I could definitely stand to replace the ratty straps I have been using for years.
This isn't that heavy by Buster standards, but its still the most **** I've ever hauled with my truck/trailer combo. I got a solid 6 mpg and could not maintain 70 mph until I got to the flat ground south of Halletsville. Made it though!
Haha, that's a pretty good load for an old wore out gasser!
So this past weekend for the trip to Canyons I borrowed my Mom's new trailer (that's right my Mother has a trailer for hauling her car) that I will affectionately dub the "Mobile Motel 6". Just thought I would share it in here, this thing is stupid nice, and with having access to either it or my Dad's Gooseneck I have officially lost any need to buy my own trailer which is pretty nice.
34' Continental Cargo Fully Enclosed Auto Master?
Shower and Toilet in the Front
Work Bench with Handsink
15,000 BTU AC and Heater
Checkered Floor
Checkered Awning
Fluorescent Lights throughout the thing
Bright lights on the outside
25 Gallon Fresh Water Tank, 25 G Black Tank and 25 G Grey Water Tank
5 Gallon Hot water heater
They Also bought a 6500W Honda Inverter Generator for it, which on the second night ran all night without a hitch.
They bought this thing to be able to take my Mom's car to shows and road trips and camp in it in a state park and drive during the days. Amanda and I tested it out and verified that it will definitely work for what they want it to do.
Dumbass move of the weekend: The 2nd day I was towing it I drug it against my mailbox in front of my house and ruined the passenger rear aluminum panel. On Tuesday we dropped it off with the Manufacturer and today they fixed it and a mere $280 out of my pocket to get it back to perfect for my Padres.

Wait, they bought a trailer to tow a Maserati to "car shows"?
Chris, apparently you are ignoring my question, but really, what car shows they are taking a Maserati to?
Maybe he just updated his thread by going direct to build up threads and skipped tech and shop talk. If so, for all the new people in the upper right if you click the yellow number next to posts, it will bring the up the posts that have had replies since you last viewed TAMOR.
I am ignoring your question? Wow I didnt see your response until just now. Sometimes when you check into the forum and don't have a chance to read all of the threads it marks them as read. I have missed a lot of posts this way, but I am not ignoring you.
To be honest I don't know what shows she plans on taking her car to, not my thing. I know the last time she took it down to Austin for some drive time in the hill country she didn't like putting the miles on it. Something about the chance of it getting messed up on 35. This is her new hobby and baby and who am I (just like anyone else in this club) to judge how somebody wants to spend their money on the things they like or want.
Now that I reread your comment I sure hope i am not reading into some maliciousness on your part. You might want to hold your tongue before saying something about somebodies family members. I hope I am not misreading your post.
I don't hide maliciousness. If I was being malicious, you'd know it. I just don't see the point in having a car like that and worrying about miles or damage. Hell, it's probably still under warranty. Don't worry, I also think it's gay when guys have badass hotrods with fuel injected motors, overdrive transmissions, badass riding suspensions, ice cold a/c, and they throw them in a trailer to go to a car show less than 30 miles away.
I guess I'm just silly thinking that they are cars, and they are meant to be driven and enjoyed. **** the miles. Damage? That's what insurance is for.
