...hmmm?
I wouldn't put "strong running" motor unless you've confirmed that.
Even frick's ad says "360 v-8 with 4 barrel edelbrock carb, guy i bought it from said it ran pretty good but might need the carb rebuilt, unknown mileage"
Dude, don't be a sheisty motherf4cker, even if it is craigslist
I have laughed harder at this thread than that will ferrell Jeopardy video someone just posted - and I laughed so hard at that one I woke the baby up.
p.s. I am only on page 3, will post when I finish if my sides have not exploded.
Damn, so page 3 was the last "good" page. I was all ready to respond to Jimmy's advice post that referenced me.
FWIW, I was going to recommend you consider giving it up, UNLESS you were really interested in learning how to work on your own truck and improve your mechanical skills. I thought I was when I bought the 4runner, then decided I just didn't have the interest or mechanical aptitude to do most of the involved stuff.
I really think you should look for a ready to go, or close to ready to go rig. A sammi or jeep would be good starters and they can be had trail ready for pretty damn cheap. Then you can learn how to wrench (or learn you don't want to learn) while upgrading it.
some ****tard named "big mike" came to look at it today and tried to convince me it's not a cherokee
Do you still have it? If so I would like to make a deal with you for the front axle and rear springs.
the axle is the wrong drop anyway for you clayton
Hey hot pocket buy this.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pts/1199254215.html
I've been looking at that one for a while.
Good deal on a fully restored one, but really bad deal on a running one. They go all day for $1000 or less in ****ty shape. But like I said for one where they one thing you have to turn is the key, thats a good price.
So eventually, I'd like to get a Scout, not to wheel, but to restore would be kind of cool.
Anyone else want Jeep parts? We had some fun with the sawzall today.
Rowdy- Let me know on that transmission
i could maybe use the front springs, call me after berry buys the axles
yea ill come get the trans within the week or so
Progress. Pulling the mota today/tomorrow.

you gonna pull the booster/master and prop valve for me?
no
so hwo many fsj's has this club killed, i have killed 4 personally, frick has one that is dead etc
Mine all live on. You're all murderers!
But seriously...more parts for me :D
They're cheap little bastards!
Thanks Sharpe for helpin me with the mota, and Clarke for lettin me borrow the hoist... I'll bring it over today after work.
Pictures-
Going to pull the Master cylinder/ Prop valve today since Frick had asked for it. Any ideas on how to get a title on the cheap for this thing? I want to scrap the body, but Sharpe was saying I'd need a title to do that, and I don't want to sawzall this thing for a couple hours trying to cut it into pieces.
OR... anybody want to take delivery of the body/frame for free (or know someone who does)? It's pretty straight.
Once I find something to do with the body, I've got the axles, steering, and springs to pull and I'm done.
Good places to list stuff??
