that why i left mine. they don't look right if you cut up the hood too much.
there is potential here... but the trend around here is that it'll end up with ryan's bronco, big nasty, and the 4 or 5 other trucks i've cut up. :flipoff2:

welp, 3rd gear is gone. I guess I can add that to the list.
I was hoping to twin stick the 205 without taking it off when the body was off but I guess it will all have to come out.
Good thing rebuild kits for a c6 are only $175

I think travis got the welder figured out.
Looking good. Good call on picking up a second bronco to chop up for this project...there'd be several TAMOR rigs still alive today if we had thought of this before.

What are credit cards for anyway?
are you sure your sprung weight is that high?
I was guestimating...ill call them today
I would guess closer to 1000 lbs on the front corners?
I'd definitely call the manufacture. They can probably valve it to your driving style too, as long as you are honest with your expectations.
Small update:
All of the crossmembers are welded together. I also cut a piece of 2x2 square and made another one. So now there are 5 body crossmembers. Just got the trans tunnel left.
Finally picked up a trailer. Bought it for cheap, it's good for the money.

-16' with a 2' dovetail.
-5" channel
-3500lb axles
-all brand spanking new tires
-new jack
I need to remove the side tire carrier and put it in the front. so I can put the bronco on there straight. It's a pretty solid old trailer.
Plans:
-Brakes
-new lights and wiring
-drive over fenders
-strip the frame and repaint
-new deck
-re plate the dovetail
-new wheels
Looks familiar
previously Chet's
I think i pissed on that a time or two
look sam.......trailer tires on a trailer. Novel idea huh?
Winch work?
Just a different option for drive over fenders, on my trailer I took normal diamond plate fenders and "rolled" some angle iron and put it on the inside. I drive over it and the trailer has a clean look. On Fricks we bent a piece of tube to follow the fender and put it on top, both work and were pretty easy to do.
Other than that copy JB's, his look good.
