needs more triangulation and more gussets
I know you aren't done yet
:flipoff2:
This may just yet avoid Bryan iron.....
What are you going to do with the steering column?
Pretty sure no on the orbital. The steering column is going to bolt to the dash that gets built into the cage. Tommy doesn't need more to do to get this done
Since I cut the booster/steering column out with the trans tunnel, the steering wheel is too far out.
The booster and pedal will stay, the steering wheel will be mounted to the cage.
Left to do
-Finish Cage
-Re mount steering wheel
-seats and harnesses
-wiring and guages
-front bumper and winch
-Gears
Bunch of little ****.
Cage and seats should be done by the end of the weekend, then wiring should take a day or two.
Won't the brake pedal be under your left foot where a clutch or e-brake should be??
Almost finished the rear, couple more braces to add

Also got part of the seat bars done. There will be a door brace above it.

I want to do one from the b hoop to the same bar but I don't want a blatant dead node in the middle of the cage. I guess something is better than nothing.
Then
-halo spreaders
-seat bars
-door bars
-dash bars (one's done right now. no pic)
-Brace from pic
-Halo to b hoop brace (gonna match the angle of the rear of the cab so the b hoop doesn't look too far back.)
Then 4 pieces of 1/4" plate with speed holes
-one between the halo-b pilar brace on each side
-one on skinny part of the spreader front and rear.
I would put a bottle opener above the passenger tail light
You are bolting it to the body? What is going on under neath? As for the bar not going to a node, like you said, a bar is better than nothing...
Plates sammiching the body but it goes to the frame.
Nice spare tire, and how did you get the birds to **** in a straight line on your hood? :flipoff2:
Looks good tum tum, I need to come check it out
90% done. Thanks to Sam and Evan for melting the toobs together

Nice man. Coming along nice.
Looks good. Two weeks to go!
just curious: do you plan on narrowing the top as well and painting it all up to look nice?
I like it the only thing I would add are two gussets on each side like this
Nice work!
Is there any diagonal bracing at the B pillar?
