count napa out. I looked for a part # but couldnt find anything. we went from 3 5/8 to 4 1/2.
i called all around and no one had any in stock or could get them by tomorrow morning so i made what i have work for now and i will call on monday and order some new ones from some one
anti wrap bar is the next thing on the list
i also went out to 47 today and the new rear driveshaft worked great, now i just need to figure out why the engine stumbles, i guess i need to do the tune up i have the parts for in the garage
ive been having a running issue and was hoping it was fuel tank related so i dropped my fuel tank and found this, the fuel pump was bent and after i straightened it out some it no longer goes in to the tank, there is now about an inch gap or so, i guess its time for a fuel cell
you dont think that maybe its supposed to be bent like that?
no, the rubber grommet on the bottom wasnt seated how it looked like it should, and the bottom of the tank is beat in bad
he bent the **** out of the skid and the bottom of the tank. probably 6 or 7 gallons less capacity
flem shortened a frool pump assembly at one point...get creative.
I bet it's gonna be interesting if I ever have to pull mine :D
he's gonna put in a fuel cell. i'm trying to get him to bob the back to get a better departure angle and get rid of extra steel
yeah he spends way too much time *****footing around on the trail worrying about his sheetmetal :D
^^^ :laughing::laughing::laughing:
EDIT: p*ssy is blocked? What kind of blanken**** is that?!?
s'alright pooosy looks funnier anyway :D
after the last trip i had some things to fix, i broke the two studs on the passenger side of my dana 60 that are used instead of a u bolt, i broke my dana 60 yoke and my battery fell out of its tray
here are some pictures of how i fixed my front axle on the trail, what happened to my battery and where i moved my new to me battery to so it wont happen agian
and one more
Interesting fix on the spring plate...:)
i was surprised at how well it worked, i wheeled to the bottom of the trail, and it wasnt an easy trail with out the axle moving any, but then my battery decided to jump out of its tray and thus get destroyed
i did tell you your tray mount was crappy like a year ago......
its not the battery tray, it was the way that the battery was being held in, i did not have anything going all the way around the battery to hold it in
so i finally pulled the axle out to fix the studs that broke and found that i have a broken spring, now i need a 52 inch spring, or maybe i should just link the front so i dont have to fix the studs and the spring
Fixing broken stuff sucks, installing upgrades is fun. Go for it!
ausfag is right. link that hoe!
maybe if his frame wasn't bent like a pretzel
and maybe if you logged on more than once a week we would pay attention to what you said... :flipoff2:
sorry, non college life has me buisy and right now no computer at work....
 find a neew jobe!
ok well there is a computer but i dont' get much time to use it when i'm restoring cars....
its a summer job. i still haven't graduated.... maybe in december. (enter perpetual student joke.....)
So where are you working?:confused2

i grew up right there, in Briarmeadow

Get this for him so he can link it.
i thimk he may have something up his sleve....
well i worked on it today and got the 60 back under it by using a ubolt instead of the two studs in the housing, if anyone else is planning this fix you will need a 5 inch ID u bolt
now i just have to figure out all of the other little stuff to fix to get it back on the trail......
