    it was sweet to watch. On the first event he had to do an overhead lift some tires on a barbell and he was the last to go. He made 16 lifts and made it look easy while the guy in second could only make 11 lifts - and the rest of the group couldn't even get up 8.

    Basically - he Dominated Conroe...

    No, I managed to keep all my food down, though I would've put money on my losing my breakfast after the medley. There are some really good pics of me immediately afterward that really capture my mood.

    Nope, but it does qualify me for nationals. I believe at nationals the overall winner of each division gets a pro card. You have to win what NAS calls a "Platinum Plus" level comp to automatically get your pro card, this was a "Gold" level comp where 1st and 2nd qualify for nationals.

    Excellent weekend indeed. A big thank you goes to Jerry for providing us, Jerry's Kids*, a place to crash and plenty of food and drink. I know it made the weekend much easier on me. Thanks to everyone for coming out, I know it was just an excuse to get together, but it was cool that you guys let me be that excuse.
