thats easy, put the bolt in the drill press and hold the regular grinder up to it while it spins

Yes, it rocks. I've been wanting one for some time. Used them before. Home Depot doesn't carry the backing plate and nut for my grinder (which some how got lost), so I bought that instead.
I was holding it with my bare hand (soft office hands these days), so I don't thnk there was any major annealing going on. I'm not an expert though.
