i do not know much about trailer tires, but will truck tires really last, all i have heard is that i need to get trailer specific tires

If you plan on putting 3 rigs with one or two being fullsizes, or 4 jeep sized vehicles do NOT skimp on the tires. With them being single wheels, if one blows with that kind of weight on it you have just taken out your rim too (I know trailer rims aren't real expensive, but still).

Hankook F19 or TH06 have been the best trailer tires I have found. They hold up well on our cattle trailer and have done a good job on the red GN.

I wholly believe in these tires.

Ed, can you update the first page. I plan on leaving Friday morning, wheel that afternoon, Saturday, and maybe Sunday morning. I am towing the Bronco for its Clayton redemption. If a group wants to leave first thing Friday, I am down for a caravan.
