I am most definitely in for one night of debauchery but I am afraid I may be riding along with someone.

How is it going to work out with the fees? Are we getting charges the day use fee only if we wheel that day or if we are in the park? I'm assuming it'll be 2 nights of primitive camping and a day use fee (if we don't wheel on Sunday) which adds up to 55 bucks in the park. Sound about right?

yes, that sounds right. I believe there is a sticker you must purchase to wheel public lands. I'll look into that later today. It wasn't a problem last time I was there but I think a game warden could give you crap if they show up.

When you pull in tell them if you plan to camp and wheel or just wheel and how many days, and then pay for what they tell you to. You can sign up for a TMTC membership that gets you a discount, but you can ask Fredo how well that works....

    Friday 40% chance of rain
    Saturday 10%
    Sunday 20%

Not too bad, should work out.

I'll drive up there in convoy with you. I don't plan on going a lot over the speed limit on the way up or the way back.
