Good weekend.
Sparling, tell the waitress to hurry up with the grub....
Long, hot weekend.
Wheelers in attendance:
Bronco
Cory's YJ
Robbie"s CJ
Evan's CJ
Lynda's CJ
Kunta Kinte
Garrett's YJ
Courtney's Bronco
Zach's JK
Tommy's Bronco
Tate's loaner JK
Clayton's Waggy
There were probably 15 other rigs out there, mostly big tired buggies.
Temperature was hot. Shirtless might have been a bad idea.
My reworking of my gas filler was causing alot of pressure to build up in the tank, which eventually killed the in tank pump. A quick trip to Brady for a new vented cap and a new pump and I was back on the trail. Broke the syn line stupidly wrapping it around a boulder. Also rolled slightly on the pass side on the Saturday evening cruise to the swimming hole. It is alot more beat up than when we arrived, but was still able to muster an impressive "competition" time![]()
Robbie had a very slow up and over roll, which Sparling got on video.
Great weekend overall. Very tired

awesome trip, picture to fallow soon........ btw Robbie flipped. JB's bronco didn't break anything (of course), my radiator came loose on my jeep (easy fix). Overall it was a awesome weekend, lots of wheeling. Wish more people would have stayed for the tcc part, everyone left out and did no recruiting.... leaving Jb, Robbie,Even,Tommy and myself to make our own competition and time it... JB won, and Tommy had catastrophic failure.
I wouldn't call it catastrophic failure, he just broke his mini spool like everybody said he would. At least it lasted until he gave it the gusto in the comp. JB tore the comp course up and made it his bitch. I'll upload the videos I took and post links.
Times for the comp course were:
JB: 2:15
Evan: ~2:50
Cory: 19:15
Tommy: DNF (mini spool disengage)
Robbie: DNF (gave up)

I would say the most impressive carnage was Evan's winch. Anyone have a pic of that?

had an alpine window pop out when a tree attacked the disco, and the steering shaft splines are gone.
anyone have a pic of mine stuck on that hill it shouldn't have been on?
...
I have no pics. But if anyone hears from a company called Rock Rash something or other, they were video-ing us all day Satuday and probably have some great footage of me and Evan.
