    My trip report...

Had an awesome time, great to see everyone as always.

For once I can actually report that I had no breakage. At one point on saturday my fuel pump acted up, turned out to be a kink in the stainless braided line. I only found that out after hauling ass to brownwood for an un-needed replacement...oh well better than parking it and riding with someone else.

Saturday JB, Corey, Clayton, Evan, Flem, and I wheeled until lunch then I ran to pick up said un-needed fuel pump. That afternoon I went back out with Cody (ag with the built maroon tj), a red tj buggy, and an 80's 4runner. I ended up towing the 4runner back after he flopped and couldn't get it restarted. At one point his front bumper became a flying projectile and luckily hit my rear springs.

Sunday JB, Corey, Evan, and myself hit some trails while everyone lingered in camp. After an hour or so we got to where the comp was supposed to be and found no one. Evan decided to try a ridiculous climb and made it, a group arrived and took pics/video in the process... I too decided to try said ridiculousness but in turn received a slightly less rewarding result which entertained the group. Many thanks to Sam, JB, Evan, Sparling, Corey, and Tyler for your recovery efforts...

A couple of fun facts- Sam is actually from Arkansas or a nearby tavern of the Ozarks, his ability to maim small animals by throwing a rock is unparalleled. JB dominated the comp course and remains the reigning champion....winning that much makes him hungry. Going shirtless or sleeveless without sunscreen is not conducive to your comfort for the next week, inquire Sam or JB about how they feel tomorrow.

Surprisingly when we got it uprighted it started up like nothing happened. No continuous cranking on the starter or smoke show like you would expect to see.

Didn't have any issues with the fuel pump since unkinking the line saturday, no fuel leakage either.

Had lots of fun... JK is no longer in "New" condition. It was a bummer though the dealership and I couldn't see eye to eye on the price so it is no longer mine.

i chose not to take pics of the JK before it went back but I did wash it inside and out. Rear driver bumper was pretty bad, all 4 wheels were rashed, both slyders, front bumper a little scratched, driver side top pin striping, the underneith was really bad. Oil pan, every skid plate, main crossmember was really bad, and the end of the tail pipe was smushed. Still they didn't sell it to me for cheap.

I dominated the raffle again this year. John Brown seemed to not like this.
