Ideally, I would like to get there mid-afternoon on Thursday. Want to get camp set up and wheel a little before dark.

I have plenty of space at my house too if you need to park trailers etc.

Ed, so you are bringing travel trailer and big trailer with a deuce and Tommy's Bronco? No Beast?

Sam, Jeremiah is riding with me now, but not sure when he is going to get here. Says he will know more tomorrow. You can still ride in the backseat though.

Ok, I will probably bring the duece out that night so I can drop it off and come back to pick up tommy's bronco and the beast (if the carb I am picking up tomorrow will work out for me, gonna be some long nights getting everything ready I think. )

Ride in the backseat out to alto? That would be great. I get out of class at 2

I'm really confused about the blue warning-box, warning about potential flooding soon?
    Alto 10 day:

At least west Texas is getting some rain.

They are just worried about some localized flash floods because of the magnitude precip. not infiltrating inundated soils fast enough. Besides, Alto is in the Neches water shed while the majority of the rainfall is in the Brazos or Colorado basins.

Oh is that how floods work...

You would figure if that was the case there would be more than q 30 percent chance of rain, especially since alto is dead in the middle if thier green-zone.

No, that's how flash floods work. A flood would be from immense rainfall upriver, accumulating in a main level 3 waterway through the channeling of level 1 and 2 tributaries resulting in a surge of the water line downstream.

    On a separate note:
Less than 1" of rain in my part of Dallas so far but they did say some localized areas would see 7"+ out in West Texas. That is prob. why they were saying "Too much too fast"

    Sucks.

Think they going to make a mud pit? I can't imagine it being the same w/o mud.
